Azoxystrobin (a strobilurin) targets fungal cells at the mitochondrial level, inhibiting respiration and effectively cutting off the pathogen’s energy supply. Cyproconazole (a triazole) interferes with the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Due to its systemic activity, the product is rapidly absorbed into plant tissues, ensuring internal protection even as the plant continues to grow.
