Why Korvizar M has become a wheat field standard

When dealing with winter wheat, there is no time for hesitation: fungus spreads lightning-fast. In my fields, Korvizar M by Alfa Smart Agro serves as the "heavy artillery." It is a systemic fungicide that is quite forgiving regarding treatment timing, thanks to its potent chemical composition.

The working combination of active ingredients

The formulation features three active substances: tebuconazole, fenpropidin, and myclobutanil. In practice, this means fenpropidin immediately halts the development of the pathogen, while myclobutanil and tebuconazole neutralize remaining spores and ensure a long-lasting protective period. This triple-action formula effectively handles septoria, fusarium head blight, and other diseases even in high-humidity seasons.

Application and efficiency

I typically use a rate of 0.75 L/ha, which is sufficient to suppress powdery mildew and tan spot at early stages. If the situation is severe, I increase the dosage to the maximum 1.0 L/ha. The emulsifiable concentrate formulation dissolves perfectly in the spray tank and does not clog the nozzles, which is critical when you have large areas to cover.

• Systemic action: The product is quickly distributed throughout the plant, protecting even new growth.
• Flexibility: Up to two treatments per season are allowed, enabling targeted responses to infection outbreaks.
• Usability: Classified as hazard class 3, it allows for handling without overly complex personal protective equipment, although safety protocols must always be followed.
