A dual-component systemic fungicide providing robust protection for cereal and fruit crops against a broad range of fungal pathogens.
Description
Triazole Synergy: The Technical Mechanism of Garantol
The efficacy of the Garantol fungicide is based on a balanced combination of two active ingredients from the triazole class: propiconazole and cyproconazole. Technically, this provides a two-vector assault on pathogens. Propiconazole ensures rapid penetration into plant tissues for immediate curative effects, while cyproconazole extends the duration of protection by distributing evenly through the mesophyll of the leaf.
Technical Specifications and Action
- Systemic and Contact Properties: Formulated as an aqueous emulsion and suspension concentrate, the product effectively translocates through the plant's xylem, reaching areas not directly covered by the spray. The contact component creates a surface barrier that prevents fungal spore germination.
- Targeted Disease Control: Garantol provides high technical performance against Helminthosporium, Septoria, Cercospora, Rhynchosporium, Powdery Mildew, and Scab.
- Operational Stability: The formulation ensures excellent stability in the tank mix, allowing for reliable application across various weather conditions.
Application Guidelines
Garantol is suitable for use on winter wheat, winter barley, fodder beet, apple, peach, and grape crops. The application rate ranges from 0.5 to 1 liter per hectare. Depending on the phytosanitary pressure, the product can be applied 1–2 times per season, with a pre-harvest interval of 20–30 days. The product falls under hazard class 3, requiring standard safety protocols during handling and application to ensure operator and environmental safety.
