Powerful triple-action fungicide for effective control of fungal infections in cereals and beets.
Description
Why TET-star is a reliable choice for cereal and beet protection
When working in fields with winter crops or sugar beet, the biggest challenge is dealing with multiple infections at once. "TET-star" from "Fabryka ahrokhimikativ" provided us with a solution that eliminates the need for complex "cocktail" mixtures. This is a three-component fungicide where systemic action complements contact action, which is its main advantage during field operation.
Practical application and dosage
The product is supplied as a suspension concentrate. I immediately noticed the ease of handling: it is stable in tank mixes, does not precipitate, and does not clog sprayer nozzles. Based on my experience, a dosage of 0.5–1 L/ha covers the requirements for most vegetative stages. We use it for prevention and as a curative measure when the first spots of septoria or signs of powdery mildew appear.
- Effectiveness against a wide range of pathogens: Fusarium head blight and eyespot on wheat are controlled quickly. On beets, the product performs excellently against phoma and cercospora.
- Synergy of active substances: The combination of thiophanate-methyl, tebuconazole, and epoxiconazole delivers a powerful blow to both hidden fungal infections and external manifestations.
- Regulations: We do not risk applying it more than twice per season, and there is usually no need for it. The 30-day pre-harvest interval keeps our planning disciplined, so we schedule protective measures in advance.
Operating with a Class 3 toxicity product requires standard safety precautions, but given its high concentration, it is economically justified for large areas. This is a practical tool for those who prefer a systematic approach to crop protection rather than gambling with the harvest.
