EMERALD RIPPLE

Gladiolus Emerald Ripple is a unique variety featuring ruffled, light green flowers, giving it special decorative appeal. The plant grows to about 160 cm in height and has a slender, straight scape approximately 50 cm long, bearing a flower head measuring 55 by 20 cm. The flower head contains 18 to 21 flowers arranged in two rows, with 8-9 opening simultaneously. The flowers have a star-shaped form about 15 cm in diameter, with ovate sepals and a creamy base. The petal segments have ruffled edges, adding texture and elegance. The stamens are white, anthers are rose-purple, and the pistil is yellow with light pink stigmas, creating a harmonious color combination.

This variety was created in 1978 by breeder Fletcher and belongs to the category of green gladiolus. The plant's leaves are green, and the corm has a yellow coloration. Emerald Ripple is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, making it a versatile and reliable choice for growing in various climatic zones.
