Description
Gladiolus Pink Moire is an exquisite variety with large double flowers in a soft pink hue, adorned with wavy and ruffled petals featuring a subtle pearlescent sheen. Flowers ranging from 10 to 14 cm in diameter exhibit smooth color transitions, creating a sense of depth and volume that adds special elegance and charm to the plant. Reaching a height of 100-130 cm, it forms a slender and majestic silhouette, while its sturdy upright scape can hold up to 20 buds, from which 7-9 flowers bloom simultaneously.
This gladiolus is perfect for growing in sunny or slightly shaded areas with loose, fertile, and well-drained soil. The plant prefers regular watering and feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, promoting abundant and prolonged blooming from July to September. To prevent damage to the scapes, supports are recommended, especially in windy weather. Bulbs are planted in spring when the soil warms up to +10 °C, at a depth of 10-12 cm with an interval of 15-20 cm, and are dug up for winter storage in a cool, dry place.
Gladiolus Pink Moire is excellent for decorating garden beds, mixed borders, and creating romantic bouquets. Thanks to its decorative appeal and long-lasting freshness in vases, it is an excellent choice for cutting. This variety combines beauty, resistance to moderate climatic conditions, and ease of care, making it attractive to gardeners and florists.
