RED TERSKIY

Red Terstiy is a mid-late ripening technical grape variety characterized by a long vegetation period of 140-150 days with a sum of active temperatures of 3020-3050°C. Bushes of this variety are vigorous, with large five-lobed leaves that are matte and net-like wrinkled on top, and covered with dense cobwebby pubescence on the bottom. Flowers are bisexual, which contributes to good pollination and crop formation.

Clusters of Red Terstiy are large, widely conical, and loose, with long-stemmed berries. Berries are small to medium-sized, round in shape, dark blue with medium-thickness skin and juicy pulp. Leaves are deeply dissected with pubescence on the lower surface, which has a bristly-cobwebby nature. The yield of the variety is 130-150 centners per hectare, making it promising for industrial cultivation.

This grape variety is widely used for the production of table wines, brandy raw materials, and juices. Due to its agronomic characteristics and berry quality, Red Terstiy is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, including the republics of Dagestan, Chechnya, and Ingushetia. The variety has been under state variety testing since 1959 and has proven itself as a reliable and productive technical grape.
