Hippeastrum (Hippeastrum) – a perennial bulbous houseplant from the Amaryllidaceae family, native to Latin and Central America. With proper care, it can bloom twice a year, creating striking umbel inflorescences of bright flowers on long stalks. Hippeastrum does not require special air humidity conditions and can withstand moderate temperatures (from 17 °C to 25 °C). However, the plant is susceptible to fungal diseases, such as red rot and powdery mildew, so it is important to maintain proper care and promptly eliminate signs of disease.
