The active ingredient targets the sodium channels within the nerve cell membranes of insects. Upon contact during crop spraying, the compound penetrates the pest's cuticle, inducing rapid depolarization of the membranes. This results in an immediate "knock-down" effect, effectively paralyzing pests such as rape beetles, aphids, weevils, and cereal leaf beetles before they can cause significant damage to the crop's vegetative mass.
