The choice of this molecule is driven by its high stability under ultraviolet radiation, which is critical for protecting sunflowers and rapeseed during periods of intense solar activity.

Mechanism of Action

The active ingredient belongs to the second generation of pyrethroids. The efficacy of the product is based on disrupting the permeability of sodium channels in the membranes of insect nerve cells. This leads to rapid membrane depolarization, excessive release of acetylcholine, and subsequent paralysis of the pest.

• Contact Activity: «Циркуль» operates on the principle of an "instant knockdown." Direct contact during spraying leads to an immediate cessation of feeding.
• Formulation Stability: The emulsifiable concentrate ensures the creation of a fine-dispersed emulsion in the tank mix, which is crucial for uniform coverage of rapeseed or wheat leaf surfaces.

Practical Field Efficiency

The product is highly effective against pests with an open feeding pattern:

• On Rapeseed and Sunflowers: It effectively suppresses outbreaks of cruciferous flea beetles, rapeseed blossom beetles, and meadow moths.
• On Wheat: It demonstrates excellent performance against sunn pest (Eurygaster integriceps) and cereal flies.

The recommended application rate is 0.15–0.3 L/ha. Due to the high concentration of the active ingredient, «Циркуль» allows for effective population control when following regulatory guidelines (no more than 2 applications per season). Important: Given its Hazard Class 2 (toxic to bees), applications should be performed during evening or morning hours to avoid periods of beneficial insect activity.
