A systemic insecticide providing reliable control of scale, aphids, and leafrollers in orchards and vineyards.
Description
Professional pest control for orchards and vineyards
Commandor, formulated as a water-soluble concentrate, is a systemic insecticide widely used for managing pests in commercial fruit production. Containing 200 g/l of imidacloprid, the product exhibits high systemic mobility, allowing it to penetrate plant tissues and provide long-lasting protection against sucking and leaf-eating pests that are often difficult to reach with contact-only products.
Target pests and application scenarios
The product is specifically designed for use on apple trees and grapevines. It is the go-to solution for farmers facing the following challenges:
- San Jose scale (California scale): the systemic action ensures that the insecticide is ingested by the pests hiding under shields.
- Leafrollers and apple suckers: effectively disrupts the nervous system of insects, preventing further crop damage.
- Aphids: provides total control of colonies on young foliage and shoots.
Operational details
Commandor should be applied via foliage spraying during the active growing season. The recommended application rate ranges from 0.2 to 0.5 liters per hectare. Due to its systemic nature, it offers a residual effect that protects new growth. The maximum number of applications per season is 1–2, with a pre-harvest interval (PHI) of 30 days.
Manufactured by Zhuhai Qiaoji Overseas Trade Co., Ltd. (China) for the Ukrainian company PP "Kemyline Agro", Commandor offers a reliable balance of efficacy and cost-effectiveness for orchard maintenance. As a Class 3 hazard product, it integrates seamlessly into standard integrated pest management (IPM) programs, helping to secure high-quality yields in both pome fruits and viticulture.
