"Enviagro" utilizes spirodiclofen as its active ingredient, a compound from the ketoenol (tetronic acid) class. Unlike traditional neurotoxins, this insecto-acaricide functions by inhibiting lipid biosynthesis in mites. Practically, this results in the complete cessation of mite development across all life stages, from larvae to adults. A notable feature is its ovicidal activity, as mites exposed to the chemical lay non-viable eggs.

Technical Application Details

• Formulation: The suspension concentrate ensures the stability of the spray mixture and optimal adhesion to the waxy cuticle of apple and pear leaves.
• Contact Activity: Because the product operates through contact, uniform distribution is critical. High-quality coverage of the leaf surface ensures an immediate onset of metabolic blockage within the mite's system.
• Application Rates: The working range of 0.4–0.6 L/ha allows for the adjustment of treatment intensity based on the severity of infestation by brown fruit mites, red fruit mites, or spider mites.

Classified as a Hazard Class 3 substance with a 40-day pre-harvest interval, "Enviagro" is highly suitable for integrated orchard pest management systems, allowing for the effective disruption of mite life cycles with a maximum of two treatments per season.
