Fury w.e. is formulated with zeta-cypermethrin at a concentration of 100 g/l. As a second-generation synthetic pyrethroid, it offers superior performance compared to standard cypermethrin formulations. Its high isomeric purity ensures an increased affinity for the sodium channels in the insect nerve cell membranes. In field conditions, this results in an immediate 'knockdown effect', paralyzing pests within minutes of contact.

Formulation Technology

The water emulsion (w.e.) formulation is a key technological feature that ensures high droplet dispersion during spraying. Unlike solvent-based emulsifiable concentrates, the water-based Fury w.e. significantly reduces the risk of phytotoxicity on growing oilseed rape and sugar beet crops. The absence of heavy aromatic solvents allows the active ingredient to penetrate the pest's cuticle efficiently without causing leaf burn or stress to the plant.

• Contact Activity: The product serves as a powerful contact barrier. Precise spraying is essential, as the efficacy against pests like the rape blossom beetle, flea beetles, and aphids depends on direct contact with the treated surface.
• Dosing Strategy: The application rate of 0.1–0.15 l/ha is calibrated to control adult pest populations. During high-pressure periods, using the higher end of the label rate ensures maximum concentration on the canopy to achieve optimal control.
• Treatment Regime: The product is labeled for up to 2 applications per season. With a pre-harvest interval (PHI) of 20–30 days, it is highly suitable for winter oilseed rape protection programs during the stem elongation and budding phases, preventing damage to reproductive structures.
