The systemic insecticide «Goodwin» by «Fabryka ahrokhimikativ» utilizes a combination of two potent neonicotinoid active ingredients: acetamiprid and thiamethoxam. In agricultural practice, this combination addresses the critical issue of pest resistance by targeting the insect nervous system through distinct pathways, effectively preventing the development of immunity within populations.

Why the synergistic effect is key

• Thiamethoxam provides an immediate «knockdown effect». Upon contact with the plant surface or the pest, it is rapidly absorbed and transported via the xylem, which is essential for managing aphids that feed on deep plant tissues.
• Acetamiprid provides strong systemic and translaminar activity. It penetrates the leaf tissue to protect untreated areas, which is vital for controlling concealed pests like codling moths and leaf rollers.

The suspension concentrate formulation is specifically chosen for field performance. Unlike powders, it prevents nozzle clogging and ensures a uniform distribution of active molecules across the leaf surface. When applied at a rate of 0.2–0.3 L/ha, the product forms a stable protective film that resists rain wash-off.
