A powerful combination of spiromesifen and abamectin for total control of mites and psylla in orchards and field crops.
Description
When mites threaten your yield
Oberon Rapid 240 SС is designed for situations where standard acaricides no longer cope with pest populations. The product is based on a combination of two active ingredients: spiromesifen and abamectin. This combination makes it a 'heavy artillery' for protecting apple trees, pears, sunflowers, and corn.
Why agronomists choose this combination
The main challenge in mite control is their rapid adaptation to chemicals. Abamectin provides a fast 'knockdown effect' by affecting the nervous system, while spiromesifen blocks lipid synthesis, leading to the death of eggs and larvae. This duo not only reduces the number of adults but also breaks the reproduction cycle for an extended period.
- Orchards: Critically important for controlling pear psylla and various mite species, ensuring high fruit quality.
- Field crops: Effective on sunflowers and corn against thrips and spider mites, which can destroy up to 20% of the yield in dry summers.
Practical application details
The product comes as a suspension concentrate. To achieve the best results, adhere to the following: the application rate is 0.5 to 1.0 liters per hectare. Given the contact mode of action, the quality of spray coverage is the key factor for success. Application is performed during the vegetative stage, with a maximum of two treatments per season. The pre-harvest interval is 30 days.
The manufacturing pool involves several entities: Bayer AG (Germany), Exwold Technologies Ltd (UK), Imperial Chemical Logistics GmbH (Germany), Bayer SAS (France), and Schirm GmbH (Germany). This manufacturing cooperation guarantees high formulation stability, which is essential when dealing with high-performance plant protection products.
