Cellular Mechanism of Action

Once the product enters the pest's system, it triggers an uncontrolled release of calcium from internal muscle cell stores. In practical terms, this results in the immediate cessation of feeding: as soon as a codling moth larva or diamondback moth contacts or ingests the treated plant tissue, its muscles become paralyzed. Death typically occurs within 24–72 hours, though the crop stops sustaining damage almost immediately after the application.
