Field-Proven Pest Control: Managing Crops with "Strictia"

When pests strike, time is the most valuable resource. Using "Strictia" by Iprokhim-Soyuz has become my go-to strategy for protecting potatoes and winter wheat. This contact-systemic insecticide, based on alpha-cypermethrin, doesn't just manage the problem; it eliminates it. As someone operating the sprayer, I value its efficiency and the lack of downtime during application.

Performance and Maintenance

The strength of this product lies in its dual-action formula. The contact element provides immediate knockdown upon impact, while the systemic action ensures that even the pests I miss during the spray pattern are neutralized as they feed on the plant tissues. Because it comes in a water emulsion form, it’s highly stable. I’ve never had issues with nozzle clogging or sediment buildup in the spray lines, which makes cleaning the equipment after a long shift much faster.

• Application Rates: The dosage range of 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha is practical. Usually, 0.7 L/ha is enough to clear the field effectively, keeping costs per hectare optimized.
• Operational Limits: It allows for up to 2 treatments. By rotating the chemistry, we keep the pest resistance in check while maintaining total control over the crop.
• Ease of Use: The emulsion mixes rapidly in the tank, requiring very little agitation, which is a major time-saver during the busy spraying season.

Operating with Strictia is straightforward. It falls under hazard class 3, meaning while standard PPE is mandatory, it doesn't carry the harsh, suffocating odors typical of cheaper chemicals. For me, it’s about reliability: I know when I fill the sprayer with Strictia, the equipment will run smoothly, and the field will be clear of pests, leaving me to focus on other farm management tasks.
