A reliable contact-systemic insecticide and acaricide for vegetable and field crop protection.
Description
Effective pest control with minimal pre-harvest interval
When working with winter rapeseed, vegetables, or berries, the safety of the crop is always the top priority. Using Actoverm from “ТОРГОВИЙ ДІМ БТУ-Центр” is my preferred method to effectively manage pest pressure without the risk of heavy chemical residue. Based on avermectins, this product proves its efficiency against a wide range of pests, from spider mites and aphids to cabbage moths and leafrollers.
Application and Field Experience
The product comes as an aqueous emulsion, which makes preparing the spray tank mixture straightforward. Depending on the crop and the level of infestation, I adjust the application rates between 0.5 and 3.0 liters per hectare. Being a contact-systemic insecticide, thorough coverage of the foliage during spraying is essential to achieve the full potential of the active ingredients.
- Versatility: Suitable for field crops (wheat, soy, peas) as well as strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
- Pest Management: Highly effective against rapeseed blossom beetles, cruciferous flea beetles, and cutworms.
- Operational Safety: Classified as hazard class 3, ensuring manageable risks for the operator when using standard protective equipment.
Over the seasons, I’ve found that 1–2 applications are usually sufficient to suppress pest populations. The 45-day pre-harvest interval is a major advantage, allowing us to deliver high-quality produce. As an operator, I appreciate the consistency of Actoverm; it performs reliably under varying field conditions. The key to success is monitoring the pest development phases closely and applying the product as soon as the first signs of damage appear.
