• Vapor Activity: Unlike traditional contact insecticides, the vapor phase allows the chemical to reach soil-borne pests within a specific radius of the seed. This is critical for controlling wireworms, which move through the soil profile and can easily bypass surface-only treatments.
• Instant Contact Efficacy: Once a pest makes contact with the treated zone or the seed coat, tefluthrin rapidly interferes with nerve impulse transmission. This prevents soil-borne pests from feeding on the embryonic root and hypocotyl during the most vulnerable stage of germination.
