A reliable seed barrier against soil pests and Colorado potato beetles at the start of vegetation.
Description
Synergy of components: chemical profile
The efficacy of "Vofatox" by "Record-Agro" is based on a combination of two active ingredients: imidacloprid and bifenthrin. Imidacloprid (a neonicotinoid) provides systemic action, being absorbed by the root system or sprout and distributing throughout the entire plant. This creates a protective barrier within the tissues, making the crop "toxic" to pests for up to 3-4 weeks. Bifenthrin (a pyrethroid) is responsible for contact activity and possesses a pronounced repellent effect in the soil, eliminating soil pests upon direct contact.
Why it works: technical protection aspects
The product is available as a suspension concentrate. This formulation is optimal for seed treatment as it ensures uniform coating of the seed coat without the risk of damage. With an application rate of 2.0–3.0 L/t, the active components create a protective halo around the seed or tuber.
- Control of wireworms and cutworms: Due to the combination of systemic and contact action, the product targets pest larvae that attempt to damage sprouts during the germination stage.
- Above-ground protection: At the beginning of the growing season, imidacloprid suppresses the development of the Colorado potato beetle, preventing massive leaf damage to tomatoes and potatoes.
- Application technology: Optimal results are achieved during pre-sowing treatment of seeds or tubers. The 3rd hazard class implies standard safety measures while allowing for use on a wide range of crops, from corn to sunflowers.
Utilizing "Vofatox" in a single treatment per season minimizes pesticide load on the soil while ensuring maximum seedling survival during the critical early growth stage.
