Akane lettuce is a Lollo Rossa-type leaf lettuce with a rich red leaf coloration. This variety is characterized by intense and even coloration, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance. The variety is produced by Enza Zaden from the Netherlands. Akane lettuce seeds are supplied in packages of 1000 and 5000 seeds and are typically sown in seedling trays.
