Description
Cabbage salad Godar is a mid-season variety with a vegetation period from germination to technical maturity of about 30-40 days. The head has a round-oval shape, weighs from 150 to 250 grams, and reaches a diameter of up to 15 centimeters. The leaf rosette is compact, semi-upright, up to 18 centimeters high and about 16 centimeters in diameter. Outer leaves are light green with slight corrugation and weak wavy edges, covered with a weak waxy coating; inner leaves have an ivory tint. Leaves are juicy with a tender, oily consistency and easily detach from the head.
The Godar variety is distinguished by high taste qualities, rated 4.8-5 points, and absence of bitterness. It contains significant amounts of beneficial elements such as potassium, calcium, iron, and a complex of vitamins. Due to its high resistance to diseases and low tendency to flowering, this salad is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected conditions, including greenhouses and even indoor pots. Seed sowing period lasts from April to November, with planting depth of 1-1.5 cm.
Godar features uniform germination and simultaneous crop maturity, enabling regular harvests when sown at intervals of 20-30 days. The salad is well-storable and transportable, making it convenient for commercial cultivation and home use. Main use — consumption fresh, which allows maximum preservation of its tender flavor and beneficial properties.
