Funtime F1

Funtime F1 lettuce is an early hybrid leaf lettuce of Batavia type, developed by the Dutch company Syngenta Seeds. This variety is primarily intended for cultivation under protected ground conditions, including film and winter greenhouses, especially during the summer season. From germination to harvest, it takes approximately 25-29 days, allowing for a quick harvest of fresh produce. The plant features vigorous growth and a well-developed root system, ensuring its resilience to stressful conditions and stable yield with minimal care.

The leaves of Funtime F1 lettuce are wavy, bright green with a characteristic gloss, up to 20-25 cm long, and rosette weight around 300-350 grams. The leaves are crisp, tender, and completely free of bitterness, making this variety especially attractive to consumers. The lettuce has excellent flavor qualities and retains its crispness and freshness for a long time after harvest. Additionally, the leaves contain significant amounts of vitamin C, sodium, as well as beneficial substances such as choline and lactucin.

Funtime F1 exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including mosaic virus, lettuce rust, leaf curl, marginal leaf necrosis, false powdery mildew, and root rot. The variety tolerates elevated temperatures well, enabling cultivation during the summer period without loss of quality. Due to its characteristics, this lettuce is widely used for commercial purposes and in culinary applications, especially for preparing fresh dishes and decorative arrangements.
