Description
Analotta salad is an early type of butterhead variety developed by the well-known Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety features a strong root system and well-developed above-ground parts, providing high adaptability to brief spring temperature fluctuations down to +5°C. Due to its resistance to bolting, Analotta is suitable for cultivation during the spring-summer-autumn period, though it does not tolerate excessively hot climates. The plant successfully grows both in open ground and under plastic cover, enabling stable and high-quality yields.
Analotta lettuce heads have medium size and loose structure, weighing up to 500 grams and more. Leaves have a pleasant green color and buttery texture, giving the lettuce an attractive market appearance and excellent taste. The variety exhibits good resistance to leaf curling, enhancing its market value and ease of cultivation. The raised base of the plant facilitates watering and harvest, making agronomic practices more efficient and convenient.
Genetically, Analotta lettuce possesses high resistance to various diseases, including powdery mildew, leaf burn, and lettuce mosaic virus. The plant is not susceptible to sunscald and easily withstands insect attacks, reducing the need for intensive protective treatments. The variety is fairly adaptable to growing conditions, but requires control of lighting and watering to achieve maximum productivity and product quality.
