Cassini lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is an early-maturing oilseed lettuce variety characterized by high resistance to bolting, allowing year-round cultivation. The plant forms large, compact heads with a semi-erect rosette of leaves, approximately 16 cm high and 19 cm in diameter. The leaves are light green, slightly crinkled, and wavy at the edges, with an oily consistency that gives them tenderness and juiciness. The average head weight is about 240 grams, and the yield reaches 3.2 kg per square meter.

Cassini lettuce leaves have a mild aroma and pleasant taste, making them an excellent choice for preparing light salads, sandwiches, and garnishing dishes. They are low-calorie and rich in beneficial substances, including calcium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamins, and fiber, contributing to their value in a daily diet.
