The Explore lettuce variety is a leaf lettuce of the Salanova type, featuring an attractive light-green color and a large, compact open-type rosette. The leaves are deeply lobed, tender, crisp, and juicy, with a particularly sweet taste. The plant reaches a mass of up to 500 grams and contains four times more leaves compared to traditional varieties, making it especially appealing for fresh consumption and processing.

This variety exhibits high resistance to diseases, including downy mildew of lettuce (Bremia lactucae) of various races (1-16, 19, 21, 23), internal necrosis, and lettuce aphid. It demonstrates high adaptability, enabling it to withstand temperature fluctuations and providing a prolonged harvest period due to its late bolting. Explore is suitable for all-season cultivation, both in open ground from April to September and year-round in protected conditions, and it adapts well to various soil types.

For successful cultivation, sow seeds at a depth of 1-1.5 cm with a density of 10-13 plants per square meter. A key factor in forming a robust head is regular and properly regulated watering, avoiding waterlogging and soil drying. Care includes loosening, weeding, and thinning seedlings as needed. The Explore lettuce offers high-quality produce, a long shelf life, and excellent transportability.
