The Governor lettuce variety is a mid-season head lettuce with a maturation period from sowing to harvest of 55-60 days. Plants form a leaf rosette up to 19 cm high and 24-26 cm in diameter. The leaves are light green with characteristic strong blistering and an oily texture, giving them a delicate and delicacy taste without bitterness. The head is round, light green with a pinkish tint at the top, with an average mass reaching 430 g.

The variety is characterized by stable high yields, reaching up to 3.9 kg per square meter. Plants are well adapted to various growing conditions, can be cultivated both in greenhouses and in open ground, and withstand short-term frosts down to -5°C. Thanks to their taste qualities and high nutritional value, Governor lettuce is especially valued as a source of easily digestible iodine, as well as an abundance of vitamins and minerals.
