PERSAY is a mid-season variety of curly leaf lettuce intended for open ground cultivation. The plant forms a semi-vertical rosette with large green leaves up to 27 cm long, featuring a tender crisp texture and folded surface. The rosette diameter is 31-35 cm, and the mass of one plant reaches about 350 g. The lettuce is distinguished by its excellent taste and resistance to bolting, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers. Sowing seeds is recommended directly into the ground in April-May, while seedlings are sown in March-April followed by transplanting in May with a planting scheme of 30x30 cm. For successful cultivation of PERSAY, regular and moderate watering is necessary, which prevents both waterlogging and soil drying out. The plant prefers well-lit areas with light, fertile soils enriched with humus and with a neutral reaction. Thanks to its unpretentiousness and disease resistance, the lettuce adapts well to various conditions and ensures high yield — from 3.4 to 3.9 kg per square meter.
