POMEGRANATE GARDEN

The 'Pomegranate Garden' leaf lettuce represents a new, high-yielding, medium-early variety distinguished by rapid growth and excellent taste qualities. The leaves form a semi-erect rosette with a diameter of 25-30 cm and a weight ranging from 320 to 370 grams. They are large, bubbly, with strongly wavy edges, possessing a tender, juicy, and crisp texture; they are not bitter and have an attractive decorative appearance. Leaf color varies from green to a red tint, making the lettuce particularly striking when served.

The period from seedling emergence to market readiness is 40-50 days, allowing for harvest within a relatively short time frame. Yields reach 3-3.5 kg per square meter. For cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in open or protected ground at a depth of 1-1.5 cm, followed by thinning at the stage of two-three true leaves. To obtain greens throughout the season, sowing can be repeated every 10-15 days. Plants require timely watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization, and are preferably placed in a sunny area with fertile, loose soil of neutral acidity.

The 'Pomegranate Garden' lettuce is widely used fresh for preparing salads, sandwiches, and garnishing various dishes.
