POMEGRANATE LACE

The leaf lettuce 'Pomegranate Lace' is a medium-maturing variety with a period from germination to harvest of 42-45 days. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, reaching a height of about 16 cm and a diameter of 20-25 cm. The leaves are characterized by an intense bordeaux-red color at the edges, transitioning to a greenish-yellow shade in the center, have a weakly blistered surface and a strongly wavy edge. The texture of the leaf tissue is crisp, and the taste is mild, which makes this variety particularly attractive to consumers.

This lettuce variety is distinguished by high uniformity and resistance to bolting, which facilitates its cultivation and improves crop quality. It is resistant to bolting, which allows for a longer preservation of the marketable appearance of the leaves. For sowing, the end of April - the beginning of May is recommended, while to improve germination, seeds are covered with spanbond for a week. Care for the plant is simple and includes regular weeding and watering.

In addition to aesthetic appeal and taste qualities, lettuce 'Pomegranate Lace' has high nutritional value, in particular, it contains the largest amount of calcium among other lettuce varieties.
