Rumours (Rumours) lettuce is a medium-early heading lettuce type Iceberg, developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. It is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover during spring-summer and autumn seasons. The vegetation period ranges from 45 to 55 days, allowing for relatively quick harvest. The plant features vigorous growth and a well-developed root system, ensuring its resilience to stressful conditions and strong growth energy.

Rumours lettuce heads are compact in size and have a round, slightly flattened shape with a dense structure. Each head weighs approximately 350-400 grams. The leaves are whole, with wavy edges, slightly blistered, and have a beautiful vibrant green color. Structurally, they are very crisp and juicy, with a neutral flavor, free of bitterness, making this lettuce versatile for various culinary applications.

The variety is resistant to false powdery mildew and does not require treatment against lettuce aphids, reducing the need for chemical protection. The harvest retains its flavor and appearance for a long time, which is especially important for storage and marketing. Rumours lettuce is widely used in preparing vitamin salads as well as vegetarian and dietary dishes, thanks to its juiciness, crisp texture, and neutral taste.
