The head lettuce SКОРИК is an early-maturing variety intended for cultivation in the early spring period. The time from seedling planting to head cutting ranges from 45 to 68 days, allowing for a sufficiently fast harvest. The head has a round or flat-round shape, features a dense structure, and weighs from 300 to 600 grams depending on growing conditions. The lettuce leaves are wavy, tender, oily, and sweet, with a rich green color, making this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption.

The leaf rosette is semi-erect, with a diameter of about 30 cm and a height of approximately 15 cm. The head reaches a diameter of about 16 cm and a height of 14-15 cm, ensuring convenience during harvesting and use. The yield of the variety is 3-3.4 kg per square meter, which is a good indicator for early lettuce varieties. The variety is distinguished by a long period of shelf life, disease and pest resistance, and the ability to grow well at low temperatures, which increases its reliability and attractiveness for farmers and gardeners.

The agronomy of growing SКОРИК lettuce includes sowing in open ground in April-May at a depth of 1-1.5 cm with a row spacing of 25-30 cm. To ensure a continuous harvest, it is recommended to repeat sowing every 2-4 weeks. When dense seedlings appear, thinning is carried out twice: first at the stage of one true leaf with a spacing of 5-7 cm, then 2-3 weeks later, leaving 25-30 cm between plants. Watering is done with cool water once a week, and fertilization is conducted once during the growing season. Seeds of the variety retain biological viability for up to 4 years with proper storage.
