STELIX

The Stelex salad is an early leafy variety of oak-leaf type with a large rosette, reaching a height of 18-20 cm and a diameter of 20-22 cm. The salad leaves have an elliptical shape with distinctive serrated edges and medium bubble-like texture, giving them a lace-like and attractive appearance. The two-toned foliage features a lower light green, juicy, and crisp part, while the upper part of the leaf is delicate, oily, and brownish-red. Thanks to its content of anthocyanins, iodine, and vitamins, the salad has high nutritional value and is suitable for dietary food due to its low caloric content.

The Stelex variety is resistant to bolting, allowing it to be grown throughout the season, including year-round production in heated greenhouses and open ground. It is heat-tolerant, disease-resistant, easily transportable, and has good storage capabilities. The plant forms a medium to large rosette, making it convenient for compact plantings in a garden or greenhouse.

Growing Stelex salad is possible both traditionally in open ground and on hydroponics, expanding its application possibilities in various conditions, including organic farming. The recommended planting scheme is 25 x 25 cm, with yields reaching about 3.5-4.0 kg per square meter. The taste of the salad is pleasant, sweet with a slight bitterness in the upper part of the leaf, making it an excellent choice for lovers of fresh and healthy salads.
