TASSIK

The TASSIK lettuce represents a mid-early variety of the Iceberg type with large, oval, and dense heads weighing from 400 to 600 grams. The lettuce leaves have a grayish-green color without anthocyanin pigmentation, are weakly pearly, and have a strongly wavy edge with a crunchy texture. The plant forms a large leaf rosette about 25 cm high and 35 cm in diameter, which ensures a high yield of marketable product and head uniformity. The lettuce taste is excellent, making it in demand for fresh consumption.

TASSIK is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases and pests, including sclerotinia, powdery mildew, lettuce aphid, and bolting. Moreover, the variety shows good tolerance to parchmenting of inner leaves and can withstand high temperatures during the summer period. Thanks to these qualities, the lettuce is suitable for cultivation in open ground during the spring-summer-autumn period and can remain on the root for a long time, which increases its storage life and reduces losses during storage.

The TASSIK variety is well suited for processing and packaging in film due to the smooth surface of the head and loose internal structure. It is intended both for the fresh produce market and for industrial processing. The sowing rate is 60-80 thousand plants per hectare. High productivity, attractive appearance, and resistance to adverse conditions make this variety a profitable choice for farmers and producers.
