Description
CROSS is a spring oat (Avena sativa L.) variety intended for cultivation for both grain and green fodder. It is characterized by medium ripening and hulled grain, which ensures high yield and good quality parameters. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Volga-Vyatsky, and East Siberian regions, as well as in the Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Tver, Irkutsk regions, Zabaykalsky and Krasnoyarsk territories, and the Republic of Khakassia. Average grain yield reaches 33.5 c/ha in the Northwestern region and 37.5 c/ha in the East Siberian region, while grain natural density is 430-580 g/l, and leafiness reaches 55%. Protein content in the grain can reach 14%. The CROSS variety exhibits high resistance to various climatic conditions and diseases, making it a reliable choice for agronomists. It is distinguished by high adaptive ability and resistance to environmental stress factors, including lodging. CROSS is resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew, helminthosporiosis, solid bunt, rust, ascochytosis, and bacterial blotches, which contributes to a stable and quality harvest. Additionally, there is a naked-seeded dietary variant of oats CROSS, which is characterized by the absence of hulls in the grain. This ensures high quality parameters, including increased protein and fatty acid content, making it especially valuable for dietary nutrition. Thanks to its unique properties and high productivity, the CROSS variety is a universal and effective solution for agricultural production.
