Description
The 'Debutny' spring oat variety is a medium-early oat (Avena sativa L.) with a vegetation period ranging from 66 to 84 days. The plant is of medium height, semi-erect, with a medium-length head and a two-sided arrangement of branches. The ears of the variety are drooping, featuring glume and lower lemma covered with a weak or medium waxy bloom. The tendency for awn development on the first grain is average, but depending on cultivation conditions, it can be very weak. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 31 to 43 grams, ensuring good grain density and quality.
Debutny is distinguished by high resistance to main oat diseases, such as crown rust, powdery mildew, and root rots, as well as moderate susceptibility to powdery bunt. The variety is drought-resistant and resistant to lodging, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Yield in different regions ranges from an average of 28.7 to 51.4 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators reaching 75.2 c/ha. Protein content in grains reaches 13.6%, contributing to high product quality.
Oat Debutny is well-adapted to the conditions of the Volgo-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and Lower Volga regions of Russia. It is cold-hardy and capable of germinating at temperatures of 1-2 °C, while seedlings can withstand frosts down to -3-5 °C, and sometimes even -7-10 °C. Due to its agronomic characteristics, the variety effectively suppresses weed growth and improves soil structure, making it an excellent predecessor for vegetable crops such as tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers. Debutny is suitable for producing oat flour, porridge, and plant-based milk, expanding its application possibilities in the food industry.

Overall bulb harvest per unit area. Depends on both onion variety characteristics and agronomic practices, fertilizers, and irrigation. Under optimal growing conditions, an onion yield of 100 tons per hectare and above is not considered record-breaking. |
