Description
IVORY — an early-maturing variety of oats distinguished by its high resistance to lodging and drought. It is characterized by early flowering and medium-early harmonious ripening of grain and straw, which ensures optimal harvesting times and high productivity. The variety has a high adaptability to soils and intensive tillering, contributing to stable yields in various climatic zones, including the steppe, forest-steppe, and Polesye.
The IVORY grain is distinguished by its high weight of 1000 seeds, reaching 40–43 grams, and high quality, confirmed by ratings of 9 out of 9 points for mass and calibration. The grain contains about 15% protein and a husk content of 27%, making it valuable both for forage and grain use. High calibration and husk content «2+» ensure good suitability for direct combine harvesting, simplifying the technological process of harvesting.
The variety is resistant to major oat diseases such as powdery mildew, stem rust, septoria, leaf spot, as well as straw brittleness and grain shedding. Plant height reaches about 70 cm, which contributes to good stability and reduces losses during harvest. Recommended sowing rates vary depending on sowing dates, allowing you to adapt the agricultural technology to specific growing conditions and achieve maximum yield.
