Description
Tubinsky is a mid-maturing spring oat (Avena sativa L.) variety with a vegetative period of 71-89 days, belonging to the thick-husked grain-forage group. The plant is medium-height with a semi-upright bush, two-sided head with semi-raised branch arrangement and drooping spikelets. The grain is large, with a 1000-grain mass of 34-41 g, and grain natural density varies from 470 to 540 g/L. The variety is characterized by the absence or very weak awnedness, as well as weak pubescence at the base of the first grain. Leaf sheaths, leaf edges, and the upper stem node are hairless, which is a distinguishing feature of the variety.
Tubinsky is recommended for cultivation in the East Siberian region, including Krasnoyarsk Krai, as well as the Republic of Khakasia and Tuva. It demonstrates good drought resistance at the level of standards and medium resistance to lodging. The yield of the variety in the region averages 30.1 c/ha, which is 1.2 c/ha higher than the average standard, and the maximum registered yield was 71.8 c/ha. Protein content in the grain ranges from 8.0-12.5%, ensuring high-quality grain for forage use.
Studies conducted in the forest-steppe zone of Krasnoyarsk Krai showed high ecological plasticity and stability of the Tubinsky variety in terms of yield and 1000-grain mass. The index of ecological plasticity exceeds one, indicating the variety's ability to adapt to various growing conditions and maintain high productivity. Despite susceptibility to bacterial burn, head smut, crown rust, and red-brown speckling, the variety is weakly affected by stem rust, making it a stable choice for intensive cultivation technologies.

Yield
Overall bulb harvest per unit area. Depends on both onion variety characteristics and agronomic practices, fertilizers, and irrigation. Under optimal growing conditions, an onion yield of 100 tons per hectare and above is not considered record-breaking. |
