Daggo F1

Daggo F1 onion is a medium-maturing, high-yielding hybrid of bulb onion, characterized by its resistance to various climatic conditions and stress factors. The vegetative period ranges from 105 to 115 days, allowing harvest to be obtained as early as 108–115 days after emergence. The plant has a strong root system and large dark-green leaves with a waxy coating, which facilitates its adaptation to soils of various structures and dry periods without loss of quality or yield. Daggo F1 bulbs have a round, slightly flattened shape with a dark golden or dark straw-colored upper scale. They are dense, uniform, and reach up to 300 grams in weight. Inner scales are white, juicy, crisp, with a pleasant mildly sweet flavor and a rich onion aroma without bitterness. Dry matter content is approximately 11.8%, ensuring good storability and long-term storage potential. The upper scales have high covering ability, protecting the onion from damage during harvest, transportation, and storage. The hybrid is highly productive — under proper agronomic practices, yields of up to 70 tons per hectare can be achieved. Daggo F1 is resistant to common diseases such as downy mildew, root rot, and fusarium, and possesses high resistance to pests. It is suitable for cultivation in open ground, including regions with a sharply continental climate, and can be used both fresh and for processing. Sowing seed is recommended at a rate of 1–1.2 million seeds per hectare, equivalent to 4–8 grams per square meter. The hybrid is well-suited for mechanized harvesting and exhibits stable quality and high productivity.
