Description
To obtain larger and higher-quality bulbs, cultivation through seedlings is recommended: sowing seeds is done in March, and transplanting seedlings into open ground at the beginning of May. Direct sowing of seeds into open ground is also possible at the end of April to the beginning of May at a depth of 1-1.5 cm. The commercial yield of the variety ranges from 1.5 to 2.0 kg per square meter, reaching up to 5.9 kg under optimal conditions.
The FURO variety is characterized by high bulb density and good commercial qualities. It is suitable for short-term storage, allowing it to be used fresh in various dishes. Due to its characteristics and cultivation methods, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking to obtain high-quality and tasty onions.
