Description
The "Kolobok" variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central region, where it adapts well and demonstrates resistance to diseases and pests. The plant develops for 100-110 days from germination to the mass falling of the foliage. Cultivation is possible both from seeds in a one-year crop and from sets in a two-year crop. For set planting, a scheme of 20x10 cm is recommended, and watering is stopped in the second half of the vegetative period. It is preferable to place the crop on sunny plots to achieve maximum yield.
The "Kolobok" onion variety is versatile in application: it is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and salad dishes. Thanks to its taste qualities and dense structure, it is widely used in cooking. Dried onion of this variety retains all the beneficial properties of the fresh product and has a characteristic aroma, making it convenient for adding to various dishes, including baking, soups, and stews, where a rich onion flavor is required.
