Orizaba F1 — a new high-yielding onion hybrid with white outer scale color, intended for cultivation in open ground. It matures approximately 118-120 days after sowing and forms large round bulbs weighing from 130 to 260 grams, sometimes up to 800 grams. The onion flesh is snow-white, tender, and sweet, without bitterness, making it ideal for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage up to 4 months. The bulbs have high density and a thin neck, ensuring good scale adhesion and enabling mechanized harvesting and sorting.

Orizaba F1 plants have upright growth habit and a strong root system, ensuring high drought tolerance and adaptability to various soil conditions. The hybrid is resistant to bolting and exhibits good field tolerance to diseases, including basal rot, false powdery mildew, and root rot, significantly enhancing its reliability in cultivation. Due to these qualities, Orizaba F1 is recommended for direct seeding cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine and Moldova.
