Plants are semi-upright, low, with pale stems and strongly lobed leaves. Flowering is abundant, inflorescences compact, corolla white. Tubers are oval-round in shape with smooth yellow skin and small eyes. Flesh is white, does not darken upon cutting, making this variety versatile for various cooking methods, including baking, frying, and mashing. Marketable tuber weight ranges from 66 to 122 grams, with starch content of 14.0-19.3%, which exceeds standard indicators, ensuring high starchiness and good taste.

The variety exhibits high marketability (73-92%) and stable yield, ranging from 160 to 307 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 536 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the standards of other varieties. 'Bryanskaya Novinka' is resistant to several diseases, including potato cancer, late blight on foliage and tubers, severe viral infections, alternaria, and stem nematodes. However, the variety is susceptible to golden potato nematode and slightly affected by scab. High resistance to late blight and other diseases contributes to maintaining yield and improving tuber quality.
