Radich — a medium-early potato variety for table use, distinguished by attractive pink tubers with smooth skin and white flesh. The plant's flowers have a red-purple hue. Starch content in the tubers ranges from 12.6% to 14%, ensuring good taste and versatility in culinary applications. The technological yield of this variety reaches 20 centners per hectare as early as 40-45 days after emergence, and may reach up to 400 centners per hectare by the end of the vegetation period.
The Radich variety exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer, as well as moderate resistance to stem nematodes, phytophthora, common scab, viral, and bacterial diseases. Due to these qualities, it is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. The variety has been registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 1997, confirming its proven reliability and adaptability to local conditions.
Radich potatoes are supplied in high quality, free from sand and signs of disease, ensuring good storage and transportation under appropriate temperature conditions. The product is available in large volumes, packed in nets for convenient storage and transport. This potato is suitable for both personal consumption and commercial cultivation and marketing.
