Potato variety Varia is a medium-maturing table variety developed in 2014. The plant is of medium height, intermediate type with semi-upright growth habit. Leaves are medium-sized, open, green, with anthocyanin coloration on the inner side of the petiole ranging from weak to moderate. Tubers are elongated-oval with very small eyes, covered by smooth yellow skin, and the flesh has a delicate cream color. Average marketable tuber weight ranges from 97 to 129 grams, with starch content varying between 14.7–15.6%. The taste of the tubers is rated as good to excellent, making this variety attractive to a wide range of consumers.

The Varia variety stands out for its high yield, reaching 138 to 409 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 435 centners, exceeding standards of some well-known varieties. Tubers' marketability ranges from 83–97%, and storability reaches 95%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss. Thanks to these characteristics, Varia potato is popular among farmers and gardeners who value its excellent transportability and versatility.

Special attention is paid to the variety's disease resistance. Varia exhibits high resistance to potato cancer and wrinkled mosaic disease, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. However, the variety is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode, requiring control and preventive measures during cultivation.
