Vienna

Vienna F1 radish is an early hybrid from the Dutch selection company Enza Zaden, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The vegetation period is 20-25 days from sowing, allowing for a quick harvest of fresh produce. The plant is compact with low-growing foliage, well-tolerates temperature drops, high solar activity, and low soil moisture. Vienna F1 is adapted to various soil types and positively responds to intensive agronomic practices, while being resistant to major radish diseases.

The radish fruits of Vienna have a round shape with a small tail, bright red, shiny, and dense skin. The root diameter varies from 3 to 5 cm, and the weight ranges from 20 to 40 g, ensuring good marketability and attractive appearance. The flesh is snow-white, uniform, crisp, juicy, with a pleasant mild flavor, slight spiciness, and practically no bitterness. Yield reaches 2.5-2.7 kg per square meter, and the roots easily pull out of the soil and are easily transported over any distance without loss of quality.

Vienna F1 radish is ideal for fresh consumption and culinary use. It retains freshness, firmness, and gloss for 7-8 days after harvest, making it convenient for marketing and storage. Recommended sowing density is 200-250 seeds per square meter, and the variety responds well to moderate watering, which contributes to stable and high yields.
