TERNEISKY

The late-ripening rosehip variety "Terneisky" is a universal shrub characterized by vigorous and medium-spreading growth. The medium-length canes have a light green color, non-felted and matte surfaces, with drooping tips creating a characteristic plant appearance. The spines are of medium diameter, robust, solitary, and evenly distributed along the entire cane length, providing good protection from pests.

The variety's leaves are dark green, leathery, and wrinkled with a convex base; their surface shines in sunlight. The berries reach an average mass of 6.9 grams, have a flattened shape, and a rich red color. Inside, they are juicy, acid-sweet in taste, and possess a refreshing aroma. The chemical composition of the berries includes sugars (9.2%), acids (0.7%), and high levels of vitamins: C — 522.2 mg/%, D — 660.0 mg/%. These indicators make the berries a valuable source of nutrients.

The variety is distinguished by high yield of 56 centners per hectare and resistance to climatic stress. It is winter-hardy, moderately drought-resistant, and also possesses heat resistance and resistance to diseases and pests. Thanks to these properties, "Terneisky" is suitable for a wide range of applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as as an ornamental plant.
