Description
Bohan beet roots have a round shape with a smooth surface, free of bumps and light radial rings when cut. The average root weight is 200–250 grams, with a diameter of 8–11 cm. The flesh is a rich dark-red color with a purplish tint, fiber-free, ensuring excellent taste — the beet is very sweet and juicy. Dry matter content reaches 13.5%, and sugar content is around 11%, making this hybrid particularly attractive for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing, including juice production.
Bohan F1 beet is suitable for both commercial-scale cultivation and home gardens. Due to its excellent market quality and ability to be stored for long periods, the harvest can be sold immediately after harvest or stored. The plant responds well to the application of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, which can increase yields to 50–70 tons per hectare. This hybrid is a versatile product combining high productivity, disease resistance, and superior taste qualities.
