Beet of the Cadet variety is an early-maturing and high-yielding table beet, characterized by medium-sized, round roots weighing 250 to 400 grams. The root flesh is dark red, smooth, juicy, tender, and sweet, making this variety especially tasty and appealing to consumers. The variety is characterized by high marketability and resistance to bolting, ensuring stable crop quality and ease of harvesting due to the vertical positioning of strong stems and a small leaf rosette.

Cadet is suitable for cultivation for fresh markets, processing, and long-term winter storage. It retains quality well even when sown late in May-June, allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities. The vegetation period ranges from 90 to 110 days, with yields reaching 50 tons per hectare. The plant is cold-resistant and prefers light, fertile, and well-fertilized soils. Sowing is recommended when soil temperature reaches 6-8°C, with seed depth of 3-4 cm and seeding rate of 1-1.5 grams per square meter.

Special attention should be paid to ensuring adequate moisture, especially during seed germination and root formation, as Cadet beet is demanding in water requirements. The roots are embedded in the soil approximately one-third of their length, which contributes to their quality development.
