Description
Cadet is suitable for cultivation for fresh markets, processing, and long-term winter storage. It retains quality well even when sown late in May-June, allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities. The vegetation period ranges from 90 to 110 days, with yields reaching 50 tons per hectare. The plant is cold-resistant and prefers light, fertile, and well-fertilized soils. Sowing is recommended when soil temperature reaches 6-8°C, with seed depth of 3-4 cm and seeding rate of 1-1.5 grams per square meter.
Special attention should be paid to ensuring adequate moisture, especially during seed germination and root formation, as Cadet beet is demanding in water requirements. The roots are embedded in the soil approximately one-third of their length, which contributes to their quality development. Due to its characteristics and versatility, the Cadet variety is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain tasty, juicy, and high-quality beet harvests.
