Table beet variety Egipos is a high-yielding mid-late maturing variety with a maturation period of 132 to 150 days. The roots are cylindrical, dark red in color, and 4 to 7 cm in diameter. They are smooth, tapered at the tip, and easily pulled from the soil. The beet flesh is dark red, juicy, tender, and sweet, without pale rings, giving it excellent taste qualities. The weight of a single root ranges from 230 to 370 grams, and the yield reaches 3.2–5.8 kg per square meter. Variety Egipos is characterized by high cold resistance and low tendency to bolting, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The plant develops well on fertilized, light soils, especially requiring moisture during seed germination and root formation. Due to these characteristics, the beet is suitable for open-ground cultivation and ensures a stable yield. Beet Egipos is recommended for winter storage, processing, and fresh consumption.
